Joining in/ Staying out

After contemplating this topic for a good amount of time, I have come to realize that I am part of the Bravo Nation. In case you all didn't know it is channel 70 in the Bristol area. I love everything about Bravo, all the the shows are extremely entertaining and I tune in regularly to all of the Real Housewives. Whenever I cant find something to watch I always use Bravo as my go to channel to fall back on. They have shows ranging from extremely talented chefs on the show Top Chef to the entertaining fashionista Rachel Zoe on the Rachel Zoe Project. They also house my favorite TV house Andy Cohen, who always asks the hard must know questions. Bravo is by far my favorite TV show and I will be a long time follower.

A group I am not part of is the proactive solutions face washers. In fact I do not use face wash at all. Some may find this to be gross but I find it to be natural. And not to toot my own horn but I have a history of really good skin. Toot toot. There have been occasions when I have tried washing my face just for fun and actually end up breaking out from it. I know this may sound weird but its true. I am not going to be changing my routine anytime soon.

The Pretty Good Problem

Before my grandmother passed away she had given me an old ring that she used to wear all time. Since then this ring has always had a very special place in my heart. Last year the opal stone that was in the ring fell out, however I didnt notice the stone had fallen out until I was sitting and class. Because the stone was so small it made it impossible to find the opal. I didnt want to just replace it with any stone so thats when I started my search for stones and gems. Later that year while i was in an antique store I found a pair of beautiful sea green stud earings. The man who sold them to me told me some elaborate story about how he found them and at the time I feel in love with them even though im sure he most likely made up the story. He sold me and I ended up purchasing the earings, not even a week had gone by before my younger sister borrowed my new earings, and lost one of them. So now I was left with just one beautiful sea green stud earing, I put it away in my jewelry box figuring I would find something to do with it when it hit me that I should take the stone from the earing and place it in to the ring. The next week I went to my local jeweler and asked if it was possible, they said it would be hard because the stone is a different size and shape than the rings shape but the told me it was possible. Now I have a beautiful ring that still means the world to me. Buying those earings was a remarkable purchase because with out them I wouldnt have my ring.

Fake Yurman

I purchased a knock off David Yurman necklace for one of my really good friends Kristine. It was her birthday and we both share a connection with David Yurman. Last year we had purchased knock off David Yurman rings at the airport, we ended up getting made fun of because people thought we paid too much for them. We didnt care though we were just happy to have beautiful rings. So this year before her birthday I was in a little store and happen to see an area full of knock off David Yurman Jewelry. When I walked over and saw the necklace I knew I had to get it for her to keep our connection fresh. When she opened the present she one loved it and laughed from remembering our day in the airport

Advertising Blog

http://adweek.blogs.com/adfreak/

This blog is very entertaining. It's blog posts come from many different writers. I liked how they look at all different commercials and critique them. Also on the right hand side of the site there are a bunch of ads that they compiled as the "30 Freakiest ads of 2009" overall the blog was exciting to look at and fun to read.
