A
possession that holds a lot of sentimental value to me is my rose gold bracelet that my great grandma willie mae gave to me. It is a beautiful rose gold bracelet that has flowers ingraved on one half of it. I never take it off and if I do for some reason have to take it off it honestly feels like part of me is off. I know it is a piece of jewelry I will have forever and will pass onto my daughters when I am older.
In addition to reminding you of your great grandmother -- the sentimental value -- what else about this bracelet ties it to your sense of identity? Does the bracelet remind you of family ties? Remind you of times spent with your great grandmother and what you learned from her that makes you the person you are today? It would be helpful to know more about why this bracelet is tied to your sense of identity.
